The Ministry of Defence are looking to recruit Information Apprentices for the 1026 intake. The team are looking for individuals with a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English Language and Maths) to fulfil roles in information Security, IT Project Management and Information Technology.
Most opportunities will be based in Corsham although there will also be limited opportunities available in Sutton Coldfield, Andover, Waddington, Leeming, Wyton, Blandford, Taunton, Cheadle, Liverpool and Bristol. Airbus Engineering sponsored DegreeJoining an Airbus Apprenticeship programme could be the ideal start to your career. Airbus consider their apprentices to be ideally qualified, with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to enable them to make an immediate contribution when they enter the workforce.
The Undergraduate Apprenticeship is a specialist programme designed to develop high level aeronautical engineering skills. It includes academic and vocational studies in aeronautical engineering, with industry based work at the Airbus site in Filton, Bristol. Apprentices work towards a B.Eng in Aerospace Engineering (Manufacturing) with a regular salary and all University course fees paid. To apply, you must have a minimum of 300 UCAS points, to include at least two A Levels at grade B or above in Maths and Physics. We also require a minimum of six GCSEs at grade C or above; these should include Maths, English and Science (Double Award). Deadline for application is the 31st March 2016. British Army Gap Year CommissionThe idea of a Gap Year is to give students the opportunity to relax, earn money and travel. This is an opportunity for the potential officers to take part in various overseas activities including skiing, sailing and diving. The gap year on offer will take place after students complete their A-levels before they start University. During this gap year with the British Army they will be expected to command a platoon of intelligent and enthusiastic soldiers and will earn around £18,000 for the year.
